Fin processing
The feature
We can produce a wide variety of fins
We can provide the fin shape and size that best meet requirements.
Total support from prototyping to mass production
Those in a large number can be provided in coil form.
Micro shapes with a height of 1mm or less
Press processing technology of thin sheet metal cultivated by us
Shapes of thin sheet metal fins
We have prepared a wide range of fin shapes to meet customer needs.
We can also propose manufacturing methods suitable for customer request.

Estimated manufacturable range
Table serving as a guide for the manufacturable range of corrugated fins,
offset fins, and waving fins Since the manufacturable range varies depending on sheet thickness,
pitch and height, please refer to the following.
The manufacturable range of folding fins is described on this page.
Corrugated fins
Corrugated fins | ||||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
T | H | FP | YP | W | L | R |
0.05~0.5 | 1~25 | H/5+T or more | FP×2 | 10~600 | free choice | nearly the same as sheet thickness |
Offset fins
Offset fins | ||||||||

T | H | FP | YP | W | L | R | OW | OP |
0.1~0.3 | 1~15 | 1.4 or more | FP×2 | 10~300 | free choice | nearly the same as sheet thickness | 1 or more | 2T~FP/2 |
Waving fins

---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
T | H | FP | YP | W | L | R | WR/WP |
0.1~0.4 | 1~30 | H/5+T or more | FP×2 | 10~600 | free choice | nearly the same as sheet thickness | Please refer to the following. |
- About symbols and units
-
T = sheet thickness, H = height, FP = fin pitch, YP = 1 rib pitch, W = material width,
L = length, OW = offset width, OP = offset pitch, WR = wave radius, WP = wave pitch Units are all in millimeters. - About L size
- If using regular sized material, L size with a developed length of 450 mm will be the full length that can be processed.
- About YP size
- If the upper and lower FPs are different, FP upper + FP lower will make YP.
- About WR/WP size
- WR/WP size will be determined by balance.
